Waldírio Castro is a transdisciplinary artist, art educator and curator. He is a specialist in Semiotics by (UECE). Currently integrates the Degree in Visual Arts at UNINTER. Graduated in the first class of the Technical Course in Musical Theater SESI-SP and in the Technical Course in Dance of Porto Iracema das Artes. In music, she has training in the free classical singing course at EMESP and the extension course in musical instrument (accordion) IFCE. In cinema, he has training in acting extensions for video, and audiovisual production promoted by UEPB and in the free cinema course at Casa Amarela UFC. He is a member of the WE Collective and the NUEP (Performance Studies Center). His last works in the theater were Performance-musical - Brazil is my abyss and the theatrical show "Where do socks go when they disappear?" . In Visual Arts he participated in the 70th Salão de Abril (Fortaleza-CE) and in the Museari Queer Art (Valencia-Spain) with the installation-performance What can a (gay) marriage ?. He was one of the curators of the Mostra Sistema Aberto that took place at the Sem Título Arte gallery in the city of Fortaleza -CE. Currently performed the urban intervention "Rehabilitation clinic for homophobics" at the POC (Procedures for occupying the city). He is interested in research in art in an expanded and adisciplinary way.
